Living Fully Alive

When people think of the Bible, different images come to mind. Some see it as a collection of ancient tales. Others, as a rule book. But at its heart, the Bible is the greatest story ever told. Though it spans 66 books, dozens of authors, and thousands of years, it tells one story: the story of God giving life, sustaining life, and saving life.

The problem is that apart from God, we live half-dead lives. Sin sends us searching for life in all the wrong places, when real and lasting life can only be found in Him. That’s why at Lifehouse our mission is simple: to help everyone become fully alive in Jesus Christ. This life begins the moment we follow Him and stretches into eternity—stronger than sin, greater than death.

That mission drives everything we do—every ministry, every program, every act of service—and it’s expressed through our values. Every organization has values, but not all are spoken out loud. At Lifehouse, we want to name and live ours clearly.

There are many things that matter to us, but these five shape and connect them all. They’re at the heart of who we are and guide how we live as a church family. Each is rooted in scripture and God’s call to us as followers of Jesus.

Over the next five weeks, we’ll walk through each of these values. If you’re new to Lifehouse, this series will help you discover what we’re about. If you’ve been here a while, it will remind you why we do what we do. Together, we’ll be invited again to live fully alive in Jesus.
