All Church Meeting & One Service Sunday November 1st at 9:15
Mark your calendars! On November 1st we will all join together at the Cedar Canyon campus for one service at 9:15am, followed by a carry-in brunch.
As Paul began his letter to the church in Rome, he said, “I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes… For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last...” (vv. 16-17, NIV)
Perhaps nowhere in the New Testament is the message of what Jesus has done for us, laying down his life on the cross and rising again at Easter, more deeply explored and more clearly described than in Romans. It describes how sin is a universal problem, but how Christ is a universal savior, the solution for us all. By placing our faith in him, we can receive not only forgiveness, but also freedom from sin, transforming our lives, and someday, our whole world.
Each Sunday this fall, through all of October and November, we’ll be spending time exploring the timeless message of Romans. To receive a daily devotional based on the book of Romans, please click here.
