Titus

The book of Titus is a tiny book, with just 46 verses making up 3 chapters. It is the Biblical equivalent of a small town, where if you blink while driving through, you’ll miss it completely. But as the old saying goes, “Good things come in small packages.” 

Despite its diminutive length, what it does cover is something Christians of every age have needed to hear: How our faithful living can transform the dark places we find ourselves. You see, Crete was a cruel, violent, and treacherous place, the kind of place most of us would steer clear of. But it is also where God had called a Greek man named Titus to go to plant churches. 

As we look to Paul’s instructions to Titus, we have the opportunity to discover how we too can live counter-culturally and help transform the lives of those we encounter in our own community each day.
