Welcome to Lifehouse Preschool!

Lifehouse Preschool, formally Huntertown United Methodist Preschool, was founded in 1974. We started as one pre-k class and have grown into four age-based programs with many class options. We are honored to come along side your child in his/her preschool experience. We are proud to offer your child a well-rounded foundation to carry throughout their educational career.

Our program is built on a deep passion to expand Christ’s kingdom while teaching each child his/her ABC’s, 123’s, social and emotional skills. Our staff receives additional training each year. We believe in providing a loving, nurturing environment that allows for each child to feel valued. Each child deserves a safe space to discover the person God created them to be. We believe children develops in their own unique ways and learns at their own rate and in their own style.

We use a curriculum that focuses on five major areas of growth: social, physical, cognitive, emotional, and spiritual.

A letter from the Director

Dear Lifehouse Preschool Parent,

We are so excited you have chosen Lifehouse Preschool for the 2019-20 school year.  Our teachers are anxiously awaiting the green light to begin setting up their classrooms and meeting your little ones.  Questions are starting to arise and I wanted to give you a heads up on our Meet the Teacher and Parent Orientation night.

On August 27th, from 5:30-7:30 we will have our meet the teacher night, and a short parent orientation beginning at 6:30.  In years past, these have been on 2 separate nights, but this year we hope to make things a bit more streamlined.  We ask that you only bring your attending preschool child with you, if possible. The meeting will be short as we know your time is precious.

In order for this to work, we need you to do some things from your own computer. Forms will be posted by August 1st in the form section of your Curacubby account.  You should have received an email/receipt at sign up, linking you to your Curacubby account. You can also sign in by going to Your sign in is the email address listed on your child’s registration form.  To set a password, push reset password and follow the steps. Both parents have access to the account. This allows each parent the ability to make payments and fill out forms. Your account has been activated, what we need you to do is take a moment to fill out some electronic paperwork. We must have these forms completed BEFORE the evening of the 27th. We will have a few more pieces of paperwork that will need to be signed at the parent meeting.  Please contact your child’s doctor soon for a copy of their shot records. Our fax machine number is 260.637.0036.

Invoices will be posted through Curacubby.  Our school’s policy is to collect the first and last month’s tuition before school starts.  Along with tuition we have a one-time collection for our student activity fee of 45.00 due by 10/1.  This activity fee covers your student’s healthy snacks, in house field trips, and technology. All payments will be done electronically via your bank account (no fee) or credit card (transaction fee).

Each classroom has a small requested supply list in addition of the whole school list specific to classroom needs.  You may bring the items the first day of school or at meet the teacher/orientation night. If you need assistance, please let the director know on your comment cards found at the parent meeting. If you are feeling generous, take a peek at our teacher’s wish lists.

With school kicking off on Sept 3, 2019 you may start having questions.  Our staff typically tries to answer the phones but we put your kids first.  Email is the best way to communicate. We will not have regular office hours until the week before school.  If you leave a message, we will return your call as soon as possible. Do not hesitate to call or email if you have questions.  We are here to serve your families.

In the last few weeks before school begins, please keep in mind that it is much easier to start altering their schedules now rather than abruptly.  All day students don’t have nap times, and will need to bring a healthy packed sack lunch.  We do refrigerate all lunches but we do not microwave any items. We will be mindful of student allergies and sensory issues when providing snacks.  Please do not send in food for breakfast or snacks.

God Bless, Katie Landin | 260-637-3716 |
